Painter M. Harrison-Priestman with Man’s best friend, Hulya the beautiful Harlequin Great Dane.
A virtual exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculpture by artist and University lecturer M.Harrison-Priestman.
My sculpture series started by making some masks from debris and rubbish left in my studio, the first one being the ‘Bull’. Like any creative journey the seed was planted and it gradually led me down a sculptural path which developed over a period of years. The ‘Bull’ mutated into ‘The Minotaur’ by M. Harrison-Priestman – mixed media sculpture, 180 x 111 x 95 cm, 2018 – 24.
